For Muslim Students: Recitation from the Holy Quran

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ ﴿১﴾
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ﴿২﴾ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ ﴿৩﴾ مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ ﴿৪﴾
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ ﴿৫﴾ اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ ﴿৬﴾
صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ ﴿৭﴾
Transliteration (with Ta'awwudh & Tasmiyah):
• A'udhu billahi minash-shaytanir-rajim.
• Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim.
1. Al-hamdu lillahi Rabbil-'alamin. 2. Ar-Rahmanir-Rahim. 3. Maliki Yawmid-Din. 4. Iyyaka na'budu wa iyyaka nasta'in. 5. Ihdinas-siratal-mustaqim. 6. Siratal-ladhina an'amta 'alayhim ghayril-maghdubi 'alayhim walad-dallin. (Ameen)
Translation:
• I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the accursed.
• In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
1. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of all the worlds. 2. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 3. Master of the Day of Judgment. 4. You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help. 5. Guide us to the straight path. 6. The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked Your anger or of those who are astray.

For Hindu Students: Holy Gita Recitation & Prayer

॥ Holy Verse from the Bhagavad Gita (Karma Yoga) ॥ "Karmanye vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana ।
Ma Karmaphalaheturbhurma Te Sangostvakarmani ॥"
Meaning: You have a right only to perform your prescribed duty, but never to the fruits of your actions. Let not the fruit of action be your motive, nor let your attachment be to inaction.
Vedic Universal Prayer:
"Om Asato Ma Sadgamaya, Tamaso Ma Jyotirgamaya, Mrityorma Amritam Gamaya. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti."
Translation: O Supreme Lord, lead us from the unreal to the real, lead us from darkness to light, lead us from death to immortality. May peace prevail everywhere.

National & Institutional Oath

Al-Hadith

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "Acquire knowledge, and learn tranquility and dignity along with it. And be humble toward the one from whom you acquire knowledge (the teacher)."

Emphasizing the nobility of enlightenment, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) declared: "Indeed, I have been sent as a teacher."

Hazrat Ali (RA)

The fourth Caliph of Islam, revered as the gateway of knowledge, stated regarding teachers: "Whoever has taught me even a single letter, has made me indebted to his reverence."
